Elementary Teacher
Do you love watching children's eyes light up when they learn something new? Enjoy planning and implementing lessons that energize little minds? If so, CLA is looking for you!
Educator Candidate Requirements:
- Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; be willing to sign Cornerstone Church’s Statement of Beliefs and Lifestyle Statement; and, be active in a local church
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Elementary Education
- Have two years of teaching experience, preferably at the elementary level
- Exhibit good communication skills with both children and adults
Substitute Teachers
Are you looking for a part-time opportunity? Have experience in the classroom but need flexibility? Perhaps you are retired but not ready to stop investing in God's community! If so, substitute teaching, which we like to call part-time shepherding, may be a good fit for you.
Substitute Requirements:
- Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; be willing to sign Cornerstone Church’s Statement of Beliefs and Lifestyle Statement; and, be active in a local church
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Elementary Education
- Have two years of teaching experience, preferably at the elementary level
